TD Garden in Boston is full and people are excited! We thousands are about to have an intimate conversation with Michelle Obama. ❤️❤️❤️
Hubby took my picture with her life-sized poster in the lobby. Dang, she makes me look fat. Oh well, I don't mind.

(5,801 posts)to the headline was that the First Nude was going to come out on a stage somewhere and announce her divorce from the despicable con.
The actual meaning is much better.

(4,670 posts)Fabulous beyond words.
The first half hour was video and slides set to the soundtrack of her life; her parents and neighborhood growing up, her education, marriage, having kids.
So by the time she came out, we were well reminded of what kind of strong, smart person she was. What I didn't know was that she is a hilarious storyteller. Anecdotes about Barack had us roaring. Then she told us about "the box" on Inauguration Day, and (shh!) crowd sizes...
Most of all, she inspires. She says we should become our best selves, become who we want to be, become mentors and role models for our children.
I'm a little sad that she has ruled out running for President, but I'm sure she will inspire someone out there who is worthy of becoming.

(54,436 posts)When my younger daughter was in college in Washington, she interned for Emily's List and ran into then-Senator Obama quite a lot. That is where I first met him. I didn't meet Michelle until the Denver Convention where Obama was nominated as the Democratic candidate for President. I told her that she had been one of my younger daughter's inspirations to enter law school. She beamed. I beamed back. She is a very inspiring presence.

(22,757 posts)she is so beautiful in person... I met her at the White House (unexpectedly, along with Bo) I turned into mush, said something terribly stupid, patted Bo and was floating the rest of the day
