5 of 11 victims of this horrific attack were alive during or survived the Holocaust 70+ years ago

Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg

5 of the 11 victims of this horrific attack were alive during or survived the Holocaust 70+ years ago—only to be killed by Nazi terror this week.

Incomprehensible that all these decades later society had permitted the cancer of Nazism to persist. We must do better.

days of Post WW2 and the thousands of Displaced Persons who were resettled in our towns and villages, should be as angry as I about this. We had several Refugees from both the Concentration Camps and from various Countries that were wiped out during the War.

Still see those visions of the Borkin Family, all Just skin and bones from lack of Nutrition during their years of hiding from the NAZI round up squads. And it was not just the Borkin's,who were Jewish, remember a couple of German and Austrian families who were in the same malnourished shape.

And we were a small Village of less than six hundred persons, sad to say, none of these wonderful folks remain in that area today. All migrated to the twin Cities.
