Can we please stop saying...

someone has something on people in congress as the reason why they do what they do? Don't make excuses for there unconscionable behavior! No, the repubs are not being blackmailed or otherwise manipulated. This is who they are - which is far worse than being blackmailed.

directly worked with GRU or Assange etc.

i.e. they are not being blackmailed, per se, but they are guilty of treason.

I dont know what else to call it.

If the original premise is that all GOP members are being blackmailed, but that has not been proven.

After that post to which you are alluding, I decided not to use "begging the question" anymore.
