Dr. Ford contacted her elected representative and the Washington Post BEFORE Kavanaugh was nominated; while he was still on the short list. This wasn’t about opposing Trump’s nominee. It was about Kavanaugh, himself.

More recently, she contacted them after her name was leaked and the press started showing up in her classroom and at her workplace questioning her colleagues.

The leak was of her name, between her first and second contacts with the WAPO.
