“One of the reasons I made this movie is that I’ve come to the conclusion that the old guard of the Democratic Party is a greater roadblock to social progress than Trump is,” Moore said in an interview.

same garbage of trashing Democrats when Ashley Judd stopped him before he got started, that told me he was back to his old 2000 antics, where he was so proud to say "a vote for Gore is a vote for bush"

Far as I am concerned instead of motivating people to get out to vote, he does more to discourage and divide people.

All through 2016 he was saying the Democrats are going to lose. Great message Moore, and I wonder how many of those self-identifed progressives who refused to vote for the Democratic nominee by either voting third party, or not voting were motivated by that message, "what does it matter anyway"

So I am through with that jerk

Far as I am concerned he can go F himself along with Stein, Sarandon, and the rest assholes who did everything to demoralize and undermine the most guilible

He's attacking and denigrating Democrats so that he can line his own pockets.

It's just another repackaging of the same old BS argument we heard from Nader and Sarandon (and "others&quot who falsely claim there's "no-difference-between-Democrats-and-Republican".

Michael Moore can go fuck himself! (Ewwww!)

he predicted trump would be candidate while there were still 10-11 repubs still running.

he predicted trump would focus on MW key states - and that was key

he predicted Hillary's unfavorables would be a key issue

he highlighted older, RW male's anger as a key issue

I know he is not liked much around here these days - not because he is supporting anyone from the gop, but because he makes statements that reflect poorly on our party. Sometimes the truth hurts . . . but we should come face-to-face with it.

I liked Michael Moore's first documentary about Flint. (It was made in the 80s) It was well done and focused.

When I tried to watch Bowling for Columbine, the subject went here, there and everywhere...Was it about guns? Osama bin Laden? 911? Iraq? South Park? I watched for awhile and it didn't seem to have a focus. Maybe a high school or young college student would like that style, but it didn't tell me anything I didn't know...as a matter of fact, I felt it was for a dumbed down group. So I turned it off after 1/2 hour or so.

I mean, come on, man. I’m sure you knew about the rest of the world before Michael Moore started making films — I certainly did. Books, magazines, the internet, and other (better) documentarians existed before MM and will continue to exist after his inevitable stroke.

The notion that our only source of valid information and knowledge is a disheveled ideologue with a penchant for agitprop just doesn’t cut it in an age where everyone you know has the accumulated knowledge of human history in their phone. You’ll learn more about the rest of the world in a good newspaper or a single issue of a quality magazine than in Moore’s entire oeuvre.

...there are a few facets of American life that nobody was talking about before MM made movies about them.

The auto industry, the medical industry, the gun industry, the prison system just to name a couple....

But as liberal artists are being mowed down en masse, I wonder who will be left who have the platform to confront corporatism.
