POSTPONED: Presidential Alert test headed for your cell phone isn't happening this week after all

Yeah https://abc13.com/fema-postpones-presidential-alert-test/4254214/

FEMA'S Presidential push alert that was scheduled for this week will be pushed back.

Over the weekend, FEMA had announced they would be sending out an alert meant to warn Americans in the event of a national emergency. The alert would be like an AMBER alert.

On Monday, FEMA tweeted that the alert test would be moved due to severe weather across the east coast and the ongoing rescue.

Not exactly a vote of confidence for this new system is it?

I'm surprised that the Jade Helm folks and the folks who greeted President Obama's beginning of the school year message are taking this so apparently calmly. They certainly were imaginative in their objections and fears about a non-existent military exercise against U.S. citizens or an anodyne "stay in school and study hard" message to the school kids.
