The Administration has apparently released the full and unredacted Security Clearance Application for a Democrat running for Congress to a Republican org doing oppo research on her and a PAC associated with Paul Ryan is already using some of the info in attack ads.

Releasing the info on a Security Clearance Application is ILLEGAL!

The DNC has sent a warning to all Democrat candidates who have any sort of background what did or might have required a Clearance to be aware.

life story is on that application, SSAN, martial status, living addresses, school attended, parents info, siblings, kids, neighbors, friends, credit information, legal info, etc.

15. To me, the privacy act is pretty much a toothless

law. If you are a regular Joe Smoe and your SF86 was released, I'd be more concerned, but running for public office is public. If there is information on the form regarding your health or some court matter or association that might be problematic to your campaign, the candidate had better make sure he/she is the one to reveal it.
