What do I do?

In my red county there are 6 positions to vote for who are all Republican with no one running against them. I have no desire to vote for anyone who may have voted for trump ( or any Repub.) Do I just not put anything or write in something else?

positions. Democrats in this county are rare. I could just put one of the Democrats running against the one I voted for on the other positions even if they are not local.

your vote does count, and perhaps one of the six (or more) are somewhat amendable to some of your positions on issues...of course not all issues, but maybe some of them...perhaps someone in your area has already advocated a write in campaign...

Not all repubs are dicks...pardon the language...and some are actually decent people...

For the record, this is one reason why I moved to a very blue state.

So much easier~!

I do write-ins. Even if it’s Hillary Clinton. Just anyone so it is on record that someone didn’t vote for any of THEM. You’ll lose, obviously, but you will have made a stand. Sorry. I know how you feel!

It happens frequently in my county, as well. Writing in is not fun on one of those electronic machines, especially when they're old, dilapidated ones, like we have here. But, I consider that no vote is still a vote for the republican, and there's no way in hell i'm going to let that happen, even though my write-ins have zero chance of winning.

But, I did write in my boss' dog once. His name was "Clint Eastwood." So, I wrote that in with my boss' last name at the end of it. I'm sure Clint was smarter than the republican I voted against, and for an Australian cattle dog, Clint wasn't all that bright. He was done in by his favorite hobby: nipping at the tires of moving vehicles.

I think I may vote for a few different Democrats. Liam A Smartcat, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Dog B Smarter, and Jazzy Lizard.
