A Nashville woman who rebuffed a mans advances had to run for her life after he went on a violent tirade and kicked in her cars windshield.
Bailey Cantrell said she was approached by a man at a local gas station who asked her for her phone number and made several advances toward her, while also calling her names. She said she told him several times she wasnt interested, but it didnt work and the man continued to pursue her, NBC12 reports.
My friend had gone into the gas station to get something and I was waiting outside, and this man approached me and was asking for my phone number and was calling me all these names, Bailey said.
After I declined, still a little bit mad, then the second I declined the third time and said Im gay, Im just not interested, thats when it triggered him and he got very aggressive, Cantrell said.
Video surveillance shows the moment the man jumped on Baileys car and started stomping away on her windshield.

(2,199 posts)He jumped on the hood of the car.....I guess it could have been some sort of performance art (that everybody hates) but, that's just crazy stuff. It's just not normal for anybody to jump on the hood of someone's car just because the owner of the car won't give them their phone number. It just doesn't happen a lot...that's why this story is news.

(90,758 posts)Usually the men get around to calling me homophobic slurs after a no or two. Some go with the "Can I watch?" approach while some, like the thing in the OP, go on the full attack.
By saying No - which to their entitled minds means something is wrong with me and then by assuming I must be a lesbian, I become not only one more woman that said No - I am now part of the reason they can't get a woman.
They get scary angry. Some do. I've had to have escorts walk me out before.
I choose to leave because if they are thrown out, they could be waiting for me later.
I liked knowing I was in my car and safely away while the jerk was held inside until I was good and gone.
