6. It's ok. She deserves credit for 40 years in a profession

that didn’t welcome women until very recently (and still wants them to dress on-air like they just came from a cocktail party).

She wanted to cover the Chernoble incident but management, all the way to the top, said no because she was of child bearing age and the radiation could make her sterile.

If they have a day for her for what she was once, i suppose i'm ok with that.

If it's for her journalistic achievements in the last 5 years, not so much.
