OK I did find it, but only with help from my friend Google.
Montenegro is one of the countries that split off from the former Yugoslavia and it's closely aligned with Serbia culturally and politically.

(32,639 posts)... and I couldn't figure out where it was. For some reason I thought it was next to Italy on the east side. Turns out that was Slovenia. I've been to Europe 7 or 8 times over the years, but I've always gone to Germany or Austria.

(4,533 posts)Their military has 1950 people total. They are several countries removed from anyone hostile. To start WW3 they would have to get in a boat to go through the Bosporus straight to reach Russia.
