opinions? Best way for muellers investigation to end?

I feel it's best to wait till AFTER midterms! (As much as i want RUMP indicted NOW) How does everyone else feel about this? I do feel that Mueller should file some charges on some of RUMPY"S partners NOW just to see how RUMP will react. (pardon wise i mean) What are your thoughts on this?

1. Best case scenario:
Thu Jul 12, 2018, 10:37 AM
Jul 2018

- A few major indictments come down in October, and Democrats take back the House

- Mueller releases his findings shortly after midterms, and the evidence is so concrete and overwhelming that Republicans in the House and Senate can't defend him. With impeachment a certainty, Trump resigns.

- Pence takes over and pardons Trump, putting him in a Ford situation. It dogs him for the rest of 2019 and 2020, which leads to him being a weak candidate in 2020. In the second blue wave of the Trump/Pence administration, Democrats win back both the Presidency and Senate and control all three branches.

Of course, that's the best case scenario. I don't expect that to happen, I don't expect Senate Republicans would have the nerve to impeach, and I expect Trump to finish his term before losing the 2020 election.

I'm thinking lots of other of RUMPS buddy's could be charged at same time? Could get very interesting with the depth of Muellers investigation!

I know that sounds crazy on the surface....chicken little type stuff...but realistically, Trump already tipped his hand on this BEFORE he knew the 2016 results. His constant bleating about "rigged system" and "rigged against me" was recently resurrected in that disgusting Montana pep rally of the damned.

Here is the scenario:

1) Mueller reports that many unethical events took place between Trump campaign and Russian money
2) A republican Congress ignores the substance of the report and joins Trump in claiming "vindication"
3) The USA standing in the world continues to deteriorate at an accelerating rate
4) North Korea becomes a convenient punching dummy for Trump again
5) Trump turns NK into a shooting war crisis and proposes a suspension of the elections during the hostilities
6) GOP-led Congress forces through the votes and suspends elections for 2020

Sounds nuts right?

How did "President Trump" sound the day that asshole rode down the elevator in front of a paid audience? or at the GOP convention? or the GOP debates? or the Presidential Debates? or on November 5th, 2016? or when he came up about 3 million votes short of a majority on the 6th?

At EVERY one of those points, I thought it would be impossible for Trump to prevail, and EVERY time I was wrong...again and again and again.

Without Democratic control of at LEAST one house of Congress in 2018, 2020 will NOT happen as scheduled. I guarantee it.

congress and the federal government don't run elections. The states do. So you'd have one heck of a constitutional crisis on your hands if the states ran elections and the elected officials tried to ignore them.

And, IF there is an an election on he wins, he and his deranged party WILL make a move to keep him in past 2024.

IF he loses ... He won't leave willingly, it will look like the last scene in Scarface.

So, not sure how it will look, but past holding all the other scumbags to account, there has to be a mechanism for the investigation to deal with him IF we can the D to win (and actually take office) in 2020, when he is out of office.

as long as there are trumps in washington, there will continue to be ongoing crimes and more reason for mueller to keep going.

even if and when washington is devoid of trumps, there are still administration and congresspeople to investigate, russian influence, illegal campaign finance, etc.

i think mueller will have enough for three or four years *after* donnie is gone.

the breadth of criminality in the donnie administration, republican party, trump campaign, inauguration, and other financing (nra, e.g.) is truly breathtaking. it's not going to get unraveled quickly.

I realize some things might not be tied down completely. But if Mueller doesn't have enough to provide a preliminary report at this time, he likely never will. We can't sit here for a year, or years, more while trump ruins the country waiting to connect all the dots. The dots Mueller already knows about should pretty much tell us where this is heading.

Truthfully, I don't really care whether trump does a day in jail, as long as he is removed from office as soon as possible. I guess I would prefer he does, but not to the point of waiting until Mueller is ready to go before a jury, which could take years. It wouldn't have done us any more good if Nixon had been imprisoned, but his removal from office sure helped.

Again, I'd love to see trump, and all his kids and aides, perp-walked, but not if we have to wait years for that to happen.

I'm just wondering how RUMP will use Mueller in Nov. to get votes for his cronies? Something needs to happen to SOMEONE to at least see how RUMP will react pardon wise. I'm wondering if Mueller is thinking along these lines to see what RUMP will do?
