How many here used NASA's offer to have your name etched onto Curiosity ?

For awhile you could submit your name and NASA would etch it onto a microchip that they then installed on the Curiosity, to take to Mars.

"Thanks to all for submitting your names. You are on your way to Mars!
Your names are being prepared for etching on a microchip that the Curiosity rover will carry on its "back" (its "deck&quot ."

What if they searched the wreckage of the killing machine, and only found my name?

I wouldn't want them to launch a crash program to build a space ship to track down the evil man from earth who wiped out their miniature one foot square city which housed a million tiny Martians.

I didn't want to go through the rest of my life sleeping with a gun under my pillow, and hiding from Martians.
