"Doctors Use Off-Label Drug to Prevent Lesbian, Bisexual, Tomboy Babies

A new report details the dangerous experimentation that's been going on in fetal engineering, in which doctors are using a synthetic steroid off-label to prevent lesbian, bisexual, intersex, and tomboy babies

A new report out of Northwester University's Feinberg School of Medicine details the dangerous experimentation that's been going on in fetal engineering, in which doctors are using a synthetic steroid to prevent female babies from being born with "behavioral masculinzation," or rather a propensity toward lesbianism, bisexuality, intersexuality, and tomboyism

Isn't it funny how what the individual religious fanatic wants, and what they believe their self-proclaimed/self-defined God wants, ALWAYS turn out to be EXACTLY the same thing, no matter how crazy or inhuman?

Don't abort a single embryo no matter the circumstances or risks to the mother/unborn -- but you can fuck all you want with the genes and chemistry of these same embryos?

And damn the consequences to the children suffering this unscientific and wholly unethical approach to gay-cleansing -- because their God has given it a big divine thumbs up!!

It's barbaric madness!!

And to systematically decry science as somehow evil - then turning right around and making use of the hard won largesse of science - is the poisoned icing on the shit cake they are serving up! It is so unreal, and so bizarre, and the whole thing reads like some terrible novel I wish I'd never encountered, full of depressing plot holes and glaring inconsistancies...

Wow. Just...wow. This is so fucking sick. I mean, if there is a more discenably hypocritical display of religion's destructive effects on humanity and the sheer monstrous insanity it inspires, I haven't seen it...

Leads to knee jerk emotional responses by people who have clearly not read the PDF linked to in the op's linked article

no scientific measures to come to conclusions about this drug. They haven't even followed the babies that were given the drug in the womb.

I think it was here that I read that they give the drug to women from the start of their pregnancy based only on evidence that they have a chance of IF they have a girl it MIGHT have the syndrome. So after they find out that the baby is, say a boy they stop the medicine. But there is no long term studies about what this drug does to the boys. If it makes a girl more feminine would it make the boy gay?

That it is a choice. Yet when they find that there is a chance that it is not a choice they want to play God and fix it.

I recommend people read it. I was shocked to see this kind of shitty medical research still goes on today.
