Trump is verbally and emotionally abusing the entire country.

The toxic stress will have repercussions for decades to come. He’s committing crimes against humanity and dismantling the fiber of our democracy. I sure hope we survive this cancer, but I’m seriously starting to wonder. I don’t see how we can put the toothpaste back into the tube.

Words have meaning. Look at what he says about Democrats. They may as well not be Americans. He is much friendlier to Russians, in fact.

They are destroying our country. Not only our institutions but everything we have built over decades and decades of working together.

I find it difficult to call it anything but a "war".
