Thank you Democrats! Trump is ending his policy of kidnapping children and holding them for hostage

because of you. You stood firm and refused to yield to blackmail. He couldn't get his shitty bill through.Chuck and Nancy Thanks! Thank you CNN, MSNBC and all media who reported honestly on this story, you have saved children's lives. Thank you Rachel and Stephanie, you allowed your true sorrow and horror to show...and it was a powerful thing to see. Of course all of us who called and called should give ourselves a pat on the back. Once again we prove the power of a unity of purpose.

no one should let go of this until every child is represented; auditors, doctors, CPS, etc. should have access to inspect those baby jails. There must be accountability for what has happened.

And when the democratic party regains the House in the midterm election, this horrendous crime by Trump and the GOP must be investigated by committee.

I'll wait for independent proof - like when my congressmen and senators are allowed in (along with the press and humanitarian organization) to inspect and verify that families are united and released.

Millions of Republicans reacted very differently this time. THEY said no to atrocities against children.

This is good. Very good.

have mentioned the crucial right-leaning indies who usually but not always vote Republican. Their prospective response was terrifying congressional leaders and candidates looking to the midterms.

Our part in creating the national level of outrage played a big role of course. But Trump and Republican leaders knew all this wasn't costing them a single one of our votes. Nor could we bring legislation, or even convince Trump to have a cheeseburger for dinner.

May hurt to admit , but qualified but nevertheless big credit is due to many conservative voters and poilticians. Look at those Republican governors who refused to help in any way. Of course, some are up for reelection, but that brings us right back to their voters.

It implies that two sides worked to make something happen to address the sudden no-tolerance border policy, when it was one all along. My concern is that if/when/because children aren't separated from their parents at the border, Democrats will say, "Well, at least those terrible baby camps aren't in operation anymore" and go along with the no-tolerance border policy. It's that I was pushing against with my response.

To use to hurt them even more with, and to prevent his using this again on others next time he wants his way. Now push for consequences for his crimes against these children, child abuse, and this is about as high a crime that anyone could imagine against a president, using is powers to commission child abuse against them and their families with for political gain.
