Back in the day Republicans and Democrats did not demonize each other. We could disagree, vote different ways, but still be at least civil to each other.

I don't know when this super-polarization started. Was it when Obama was elected and the tea party went ballistic? Rush? I dunno when it started but I miss the days when we could have strong disagreements and still be friends.

Today's tribal mentality really is depressing,. At any rate, Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt are refreshing and I would be proud to have a beer with either one of them!

15. Last week she asked Michael Steele (former RNC Chair) if he could possibly vote for Trump in 2020.

He said that he couldn't say now but he would have to take a careful look at who is in the running.

She told him she couldn't vote for Trump in 2016 and she had to vote for anyone that could stop him in 2020.

Remember, she could NOT bring herself to vote for McCain because of Palin! She was tearful about it because she was on his campaign staff! She said she still has PTSD about her interactions with Sarah Palin.

I haven't seen her announce that she is NOT a Republican anymore (like Scarborough did) but it wouldn't surprise me if she does.

Hey, I'm happy to have her voice against Trump, but anyone who didn't criticize Bush & Co. when he was pres helped pave the way for Republicans to retain & gain power.
