Using pardons to send signals to co-conspirators as part of a coverup may well be impeachable..

Laurence Tribe
?
Comey prosecuted Stewart & Comey’s counsel Fitzgerald prosecuted Blagojevich. Both were convicted of obstructing justice and perjury. Using pardons & commutations to send signals to co-conspirators as part of a coverup may well be impeachable.

Yes, but it will only work if we swing the House to Dem this year. Hekate May 2018 #1

There are grounds for impeachment without OrangeTurd giving everyone a pardon.

There are a million things that have happened in this world that never could have happened based on where things started out. But they happened anyway.

You just have to make a start to change things, and get going, taking the next appropriate step.

In THIS instance I can see a scenario something like this -- just as an example, not a hard-and-fast prediction: Democrats sweep the House and make some significant gains in the Senate. It becomes crashingly clear that the electorate, aside from Trump's disgusting, small base, really wants better govt than he's giving us. Maybe some real negative outcomes of his policies occur (the Trade war offers some possibilities on that, but there are many others). IOW: the Republicans are given no option but to GET IT that Trump is bad for the U.S. and people want him gone. The House impeaches, the Senate convicts.

Here's another possible scenario:
Mueller lets some of the key GOP criminals in this whole thing skate if they convict him after impeachment.

OR, Mueller gets Trump to resign in lieu of facing the music on some of the crimes he's committed.

Etc.

The only we can say for sure is:

Saying "It can't be done" is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

(at least we hope not)
and anyone under investigation has to
consider there may well be charges
brought after Trump is out of power.
