(34,087 posts)Is there a reason progressives should emulate such bad behavior?

(25,979 posts)One was pure observational comedy; the other is a call for ethnic cleansing.

(37,748 posts)I see no call for emulating the behavior of trump's supporters.
I do however, see an OP calling on us to witness the hypocrisy from an oppressive administration themselves acting oppressed from a mere comedy routine.

(2,078 posts)I would have found it offensive regardless of the race, gender, ethnicity, etc. of the comedian. The routine was just plain mean, and I don't think we ought to be emulating bad behavior.

David Mikelson has owned Snopes since its inception. The only difference is that his wife, who co-owned, divorced and sold him his share back a few years ago.

might want to reflect on the true nature of Trump's base before tweeting about a comedian offending a few politicians.

(60,010 posts)I like your sig line, too.
I am getting concerned about putting all our eggs into the basket of the Nov. elections. These guys do not fight fair at all, and now they know how to steal elections, or worse yet, Trump declares martial law and cancels them. Which is not a far fetched idea, given what he has done up to now.

(22,600 posts)Imagine instead of Wolf we would have had somebody delivering a 10 minute treat of Mark Twain-like wit and humor. But that would take some talent.
Instead of Wolf can anybody imagine Barack Obama delivering such a performance?

(11,238 posts)Michelle Wolf went for the jugular and I'm glad of it. She skewered everybody who deserved it. And I think she ended on just the right note, with a simple sentence that was a scathing indictment of this whole travesty of a presidency:
"Flint is still without clean water."
