The msm is complicit in the rise of trump.

I'm amazed at how they tap dance around those treasonous fuckers of the trump administration as they dismantle the top levels of government while stealing as much as they can from us all. They do their very best to put a human face on this monster and his lovecraftian minions. All while he says and does things that have set civil discourse in this country back decades from the sidewalks in every town to the the halls of the U.N.

They own a big part of trump due to all of the free access they gave him to the American psyche during the election. MSM beat on the Hillary email thing relentlessly, Benghazi, whatever. They don't push back on the exaggerations and outright lies of his surrogates the way they should have. They let that shit propagate and consume civil discourse in the present and lord knows how long into the future.

Now they are all aflutter about an untasteful comedy routine. They need to get over themselves, do they not notice that the "president" says shit 100 times as inflammatory multiple times a day everyday since it took office. They have and continue to do us all a great disservice in their pursuit of ratings dollars from the creepjack set via the normalization of trump.

Watch now as they begin trying to put the horse back in the barn. They'll go about doing it by checking the hell out of anything Democrats do in an effort to be "fair and balanced". We aren't them but the MSM is going to try real hard to pretend we are in an effort regain their lost credibility.

And they got him. Now, they can't stop normalizing a fully abnormal chief executive. The left and right agree on nothing in this country ... EXCEPT a fully deserved contempt for the MSM. As a former journalist, I am horrified by the MSM's performance on a daily basis. Even with all the digital platforms the media have to do their job, they fail.

make a poor Prez.

For anyone but an ignorant white winger, his appearances should have persuaded people to vote for Clinton or someone else.

Too many white wing racists showed up at the polls. I can't blame the media for that.

Anyone who actually saw trump at rallies, in interviews, at debates, old news reports, etc., should have felt this man is a deplorable. Except, they didn't.

5. I don't take any of the blame away from the voters.

but the MSM didn't do what they did to shine a light on his misanthropy they did it because love or hate his ass it brought ratings. The right thing to do was to minimize his exposure and to let the talking heads have the go ahead to active challenge trump's surrogates claims and allegations. The voters take the blame but the MSM did a bang up job of allowing them to assuage any of of their questions, if any, about putting that unqualified buffoon in office by granting his platform so much air time.

was running for president, that gets you airtime. He is ulgy, he is crass, he is stupid, he is a racist, misogynist, homophobe, warmonger, and if possible worse. Why hide that? More voters were OK with that than not.

Now, where the media and even the Clinton Campaign messed up, was not setting the record straight on Comey's assertions a few days before the election, the lies and swiftboating of Clinton, etc.

3. They certainly are responsible for DT's election!

I strongly believe that the lame-stream corporate media are largely responsible for Donald Trump’s election. I particularly blame the broadcast media. Their news coverage of candidate was disgracefully bad, shallow and superficial, they failed to dig in and investigate candidate Trump, his behavior, his dealings, his history, and his political views, instead focusing on the Trump Dog-and-pony show. They spent most of their time focused on Donnie, parroted the bogus Benghazi and e-mail investigations, instead of digging into the other candidate.

If you wanted the goods on Donnie, you had to go elsewhere; not only Faux but the other four networks did a p***-poor job of coverage

With the exception of Rachel Maddow and a couple of other exceptions, the broadcast media fell over themselves to be nice to Donnie. Their behavior was a disgraceful (f word) betrayal of the public trust. I have not forgotten and I strongly they still ought to be held accountable.
