Apple is just as 'disappointed' with iPhone X sales as everyone else

Joining a slew of reports from a wide variety of sources who claimed that iPhone X sales are in serious trouble, a new story says that Apple will manufacture just 8 million iPhone X units during the second quarter of the year.

The company is disappointed with sales, according to a source, and doubts have grown within the company that $1,000 phones aren’t a winning idea in the current smartphone market.

3. Apple customizes industry standard hardware specs so that you have to buy their stuff

and only their stuff like headphones or an adapter or chargers, etc.

First, Apple supports a range of wireless and bluetooth headphones; second, it's easy to get a dongle to connect a standard audio device to the current phone (I have Beats, Bose, Motorola and a variety of other models).

Why should I have to buy additional accessories to connect standard devices?!?!? A headphone jack is standard across an array of devices.

Pisses me off as well.

I don't need another thing to have to keep charged. My corded headphones work all the time without having to keep up with the battery.

Also, I have a bunch of corded earbuds because I like to keep them everywhere I might need them; one in the car, office, kitchen, home office, briefcase, etc.

What really makes me mad is that Apple is so condescending about what they decide. They have a very"we-know-what's-best-for-you" attitude.

I also love my fingerprint scanner so I have my doubts about removing that.

I was eligible for an upgrade after the X came out and I did so...love it! I honestly wouldn't want to go back to the earlier iterations!

And it's still a solid phone. Maybe Apple would sell more if it didn't make their products so damn expensive.
