Last month, Quinnipiac Universitys pollsters asked Americans if they agreed with the sentiment Trump expressed in that tweet. Were certain news outlets unnamed by Quinnipiac enemies of the American people? Nearly 4 in 10 said yes including more than 8 in 10 Republicans.

The only difference is that today trump's coverage is about what he is actually doing and in 2016 it was about what he said he would do.

The media is the enemy of the people because many in the corporate media fail to tell the truth, fail to hold the powerful accountable, fail to forgo profit over truth, fail to understand that news is not entertainment, and many of the hired guns of the corporate media fail to be courageous. A good example is the NYT's, a few months back had the headline, "Trump Reinvents the Presidency." The NYT's understand the power of words, and with that headline they gave a positive spin to this nightmare of a presidency.
