Comey has stated publicly and in his notes that Trump stated that he had talked to people and they reminded him that he did not stay overnight in Russia. This morning on Fox and Freinds Trump stated that he knew all along that he didn't stay. The reason that this is pertinent is that the Steele dossier alluded to the golden showers incident in the hotel room.

Trump lies to everybody, and he lies every day, and hes been doing it for many years. On the few occasions where his lying would actually be a crime, he suddenly cant remember anything and gives no meaningful response to the question. This is what he did while giving a deposition in the Trump University lawsuit.

I don't know if this one particular instance is legally actionable per se because it wasn't a formal FBI interview, but I think it did dig him in a deeper hole. The fact that he is used talking points from Russian agents to the FBI director to attempt to dissuade the notion that he is compromised by and/or colluding with the Russians is--at the very least--the height of irony.

(56,829 posts)about how the Dossier was fake were as follows:
1) Trump did not stay overnight at the hotel in Moscow
2) Michael Cohen did not go to Prague, he has no stamp on his passport.
Looks like both talking points are now dead.
When do we find out the pee pee tape is real?
