WashPo reporter Carol Leonnig is an idiot

Carol Leonnig is on Chris Hayes at the moment talking about her WashPo story today. It's a good story. She is often involved in good, well-sourced stories.

But for some reason she often says things that are certifiably insane, always in favor of Trump.

Today she tells us that Trump has "soured on" being interviewed by Mueller and that only last month he wanted to do it.

How stupid do you have to be to think Trump ever wanted to be interviewed?

1. I think Trump did want to meet with Mueller precisely because he (Trump)

is stupid but thinks he's smarter than everybody else. I have no doubt that he believes he could con or schmooze or deceive Mueller if he met with him, and had decided not to only because his lawyers finally pounded a little sense into his head.
