Both were well planned slaughters of African-Americans. The Waffle House would have been much worse if James Shaw Jr. did not disarm this racist scumbag.

Mental illness my black ass - he stole a BMW last Tuesday and the police called off the chase. When the vehicle was found at his apartment complex (GPS) no one checked to find out who had stolen the Bimmer.

Every resident would have been dragged out of that complex if an African-American had stolen that car. In fact the chase would have ended with a dead African-American.

And not going after Reinking for stealing the car was a favor to them. I guarantee they know exactly 'who done it' and they just ignored it cause mom and dad were all 'Officers, Travis is a good kid, just a bit troubled, please don't give a him a criminal record over a fun-loving joyride, heck all kids act out from time to time' every time cops come 'round cause he's in trouble again.

The fact that this kid was given his guns back by dad after having them confiscated, and he took responsibility for the guns and keeping them from Reinking, SHOULD be enough to land dad in some serious trouble.

But ... The South + White Privilege means he almost certainly won't.

This shooting was a terra-ist act, pure and simple. BTW, a person this young really shouldn't logically possess the resources and wherewithal to hide from the cops for a day and a half after doing something like this, esp. if he's truly 'mentally ill'. Seems like a pretty small town kinda scenario, and I'd be pretty amazed if the cops in that town don't know who his family and associates are and thus where the properties he's likely to located ... are.

Unless maybe he planned well ahead and either found or built himself like a underground hideout off in the woods, to be used after he committed his terra-ism.

3. Oh, I'm just now seeing that the guy's 29, I didn't realize he was that old ...

Looked at the pics in the OP and assumed he was young like Roof and the Parkland dude and living close by his folks. Hence the ease of him giving the kid the guns back ... If he had to come down from IL to pick up the weapons, did he just turn round and give them back to Reinking before he even left to go back to IL? If so, that dude needs to be looking at JAIL.

Doesn't anyone have a pic of what he looks like NOW, rather than his sympathetic-looking Junior HS year pic?
