Avenatti has figured it out. He knows Trumps game and he is turning it against him.

Trumps entire game is based on taking advantage of and conning the news media. He has done it his entire life and he is good at it.

Avenatti knows Trump is not smart and mentally fucked up. If he loses his greatest strength, the news media, Trump will destroy himself. Avenatti is using the news media against Trump. He is using the news media to talk directly to Trump. Cohen will turn on you. You will resign because that will be your only option. Avenatti is attacking Trumps greatest strength and it is working.

Avenatti is one smart lawyer. Trump without the news media is like Samson without his hair.

At the end of the day, they just want money. He's making himself and stormy into a bigger pain so he'll pay more to make them go away, or at least to make money on less damaging terms.

At this point I would think Donnie would want to settle for letting her tell her story and keep the money just stop insulting Donnie.

She is pissed Trump had said she lied.

Where there's restraining orders involved, or return of specific items, and a few other things, it's not always about money.

The participants often talk of higher principles and yeah, that is all relevant. But at the end of the day, often all the courts can do is award money, or clear the oath to financial reward. And the parties often settle, largely for money.

She only spoke up once she was being called a liar.

I mean, Dirty Donny*s high crimes, misdemeanors, felonies and treason are a clear and present danger to the USA itself, as well as to the citizens of the USA. Avenatti sees that. I think Stormy does too, and that's why she's willing to go through this fire. Call me preposterously idealistic if you must, I remain firm in my conviction that this case is not purely mercenary, and that those fundamental concepts of justice are at least part of the motive matrix for THE ACCUSERS.

8. Avenatti gained POWER through his media appearances to rankle Trumpy.
Sun Apr 22, 2018, 02:05 PM

Now, Avenatti can attack Trumpy's reputed strengths and hollow him out.

Trumpy tells his Fanboys that he's a strong leader. Avenatti can now tell the media that Trumpy is weak and cowardly. He can point to real events to prove his point. This is Karl Rove's old trick. For instance, Avenatti can call Trumpy "Soft on Russia", "Soft on Putin", and cite instances in which Trumpy is actually soft on both. He gains credibility while Trumpy loses it.

Avenatti can call Trumpy uninterested in being President and wanting vacations more than work. He can call Trumpy "lazy", when Trumpy boasted that there's no harder worker than he. Avenatti can PROVE Trumpy is lazy by citing his vacation schedule, his "executive time", and other frivolities.

Avenatti can call Trumpy weak-minded and a follower, when Trumpy touts his great leadership abilities and his strength of resolve. Avenatti can cite real events that show Trumpy to be flipping positions, wishy-washy, ambivalent, rudderless. Again, he can use real events to prove his allegation.

Any of these attack positions will infuriate Trumpy, who can only keep his position of power by controlling the media. But the media is now listening to Avenatti. Once Trumpy's control dissipates, he lacks a tactical device to activate his base. Without constant yammering on TV about his being victimized by his entire environment, his base will gradually lose interest. If that happens, the Congressional GOP will lose interest in protecting him.

Whether Avenatti actually wants to dismantle Trumpy's self-imposed myths and destroy his public branding may be another matter. Avenatti readily uses the media to his advantage, but it may be a skill that he may only want to use when it helps his client and secondarily, himself. If shredding Trumpy's brand is strategic, then we can stick a fork in Trumpy. He's met his match.

talk radio is still all out for trump and attacking his critics and mueller, comey, etc., while liberals ignore it.

but by exposing hannity, avenatti/stormy may do even more damage to the right than just vs trump.

trump studied talk radio in 2014 (sam nunberg said it in ny magazine by gabriel sherman 4/3/16). was that evidence of collusion and were they paying off hannity and limbaugh, who is also always defending trump.

if it is exposed that the talk radio gods are getting paid, maybe even with russian money, that will be huge

...and, yes, Avenatti's hairstyle is much more attractive than Trump's!
