Hardly a day goes by the the putrid and stench doesn't get worse and more unbearable. The more likely it is that Democrats can gain control the more hateful, spiteful and snarky that Trump and the GOP gets. In their view Democrats should be out of governing entirely 100%. ONLY the GOP has a right to set policy and run everything the way they look at it. They are perfect IK with giving our country over to racist religious nuts as long as they are in control.

We must obvious beat them back and beat them down as well. No compromise seems possible with GOP from the looks of things.

4. solutions

I for one am sick to death of the endless list of sins, crimes, grifting. what we need are solutions. and lots of them.

#1 someone needs to be keeping a spreadsheet of very change of law, policy, action, rule rollback and decision this gaggle has made.

#2 ditto for every state, local board.

#3 re-frame every issue. for the last 50 years we dems have allowed the limpuglicants to frame every issue. time for that to stop. every time a question is asked, the entire question should be re-framed from a progressive point of view. instead of why - it should be why not.

#4 every political seat held by the wingnuts must have a challenger. I do not care if the person has any monetary support. just a name will do to start with.

#5 it's well past the time when solutions must be offered. real problem solvers. no half measures because something may cost money. Stop starting with an inch. demand the whole fricking mile. we know what works. we know what is needed. so stop being afraid to demand it.

#6 stop being afraid to big money. little dollars = a real vote. big money does not. out of state money does not. cpac money does not.

#7 write a new law. find out what legislation actually looks like. investigate legislative language. then write a piece of legislation. If lobbyists can do it, so can we. put it out there. allow your fellow citizens to critique it, make it better. make it more inclusive. work out the bugs. then get a candidate to endorse it. make it their own. candidates who say "i'm for __" are a dime a dozen. a candidate that says 'here is a piece of legislation I will submit" is what we need.

#8 gerrymandering only works if good people stay home. think their votes don't matter. and those few sane limpuglicants who are ashamed, embarrassed of their party need to be reminded that the voting booth is sacred. they can vote for the progressive candidate in secret.
