On Tuesday, Trump will host French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House. But unlike his two immediate predecessors, he hasnt invited any congressional members of the Democratic Party to attend, including leaders like Rep. Nancy Pelosi or Sen. Chuck Schumer. He has also excluded members of the media.

(4,016 posts)I do hope the slight is widely broadcast. As America is a beacon by its actions to the world, this move diminishes us all in the eyes of those seeking or already having representative governments where opposition parties exist together, not separately.
In all, another sad day in Trumpland!
