Trump preaches honest work...for the poor

From the article:

As FEDERAL investigators sift through the evidence of Donald Trump's criminal history seized from his lawyer's office, Trump and fellow Republicans are racing to pull off what could be remembered as their last big score: Destroying what's left of the social safety net to pay for billionaire tax cuts and Pentagon boondoggles....

Surveys show that these patronizing and racially coded claims have far less credibility with the public then they did 20 years ago. But it will take protests, not polls, to stop Trump and his gang of thieves from getting away with this historic attack

Sadly if this stuff goes through we probably wont be able to doing anything about it until 2020 barring a miracle coming up with a veto proof majority in the house or Senate or gaining veto proof majorities in State legislatures in every right wing state. Our best bet right now to stop some of this stuff is the court system.

be able to reverse it until 2020 cause Trump will still be President. Which means people in Ky,Ind,Arkansas and maybe Michigan etc. will be screwed We need to try and win this battle in courts first so it never happens.

also the work requirements on snap in 96 did not go into effect for another 20 years. They plan to ad work requirements to medicaid almost immediately. There have never been work requirements on medicaid. Also in 96 those work requirements went through congress. This time their trying to do it by the executive branch of the federal government granting waivers to states.

Make me sick.

How bout raising the minimum wage so people can live on what they make?

How about showing some decency to those unable to work?

Instead of beating people when they're down?

Never lived paycheck to paycheck. Or had to skip seeing a doctor because he didn’t have healthcare. Or near the end of the month eating one meal a day.

Despicable person
