A group of Democratic senators is asking the administration to explain its ties to Charles and David Koch after the conservative, wealthy brothers bragged to donors that they were responsible for some of President Donald Trumps policies his first year in office.
The senators sent a letter asking for information this week following the distribution of a report to the Seminar Network, a group of donors that fund Koch brothers political and policy efforts, that takes credit for more than a dozen new policies, including replacing the Clean Power Plan, which cut greenhouse gas emissions from power plants, revoking monument designations, streamlining permits for infrastructure projects, repealing limits on short-term health insurance plans; and implementing tax cuts.
Americans have a right to know if special interests are unduly influencing public policy decisions that have profound implications for public health, the environment, and the economy, the senators write in their letters obtained by McClatchy.
The letters launch a larger effort by Democratic lawmakers to reveal the extent of the Koch brothers influence in the Trump administration.

Entirely.
Gay people? Hell, in their world even though they personally seem to have no problem with them, they will be in grave danger at all times.
ONE Way to avoid this and ONLY one way...

Kochs are known for hiding their cash-donations-for-favors in shell companies & Pacs/Groups who's laws prevent disclosure of received funds.

(100,129 posts)But if I was I'd be willing to bet good money that the Kochs financed Erik Prince's multiple trips to the Seychelles in 2016. I'd also be willing to bet they had a hand in financing Wikileaks. That little weasel Assange is definitely not on our side. Follow the money.

(6,288 posts)Their final dance outta this world will be to fulfill their father's dream of The John Birch Society.
I have often thought, tho of course, without proof at all, that it was that organization behind the Murder of JFK.
Kochs & JBS Hated the Kennedys, the Democratic society, and the inclusion of all people, races, and citizens.
Forseeing America through that Democratic lens, woul be enough to want to stop it in its tracks.
We will never be told the truth of the murder of The Kennedy brothers, both committed to equality. Especially in regards to racism.
Kochs & John Birchers are a white supremacist hate group.
So its not a stretch to understand why the Clinton's were targeted for their beliefs on human & civil rights, long ago.
The Koch lips must have curled back over their foreheads when Obama was elected, thus came the vow that 2016 would be the election to end this Democratic free society.
White Supremacy would rule the day.
Just my opinion, however.

(100,129 posts)I really wonder how wealth hoarding isn't considered a mental health disability. I mean we treat people who have houses full of dolls and trash as if they are hoarders. But if you have more money than the population of entire countries, you don't have a problem. What is wrong with this picture?
