After all these recent developments, what is his next move?
He is surely aware of the pressures being put on Rod Rosenstein, his boss, and the hiring of new attorneys by Donald Trump, including Rudy Guiliani?
Should he just sit back and let Donald Trump set his own trap of obstruction?
Or should he indict another "big" name just to show that his investigation is a very serious matter?
He is still out there. He has not gone away.

(17,865 posts)and firings to the best of his ability. He is probably already has a report that he is constantly updating that he only needs to push a button to send to the AG, Rosenstein, the chairs of the Judiciary Committees, and the ranking members of the Judiciary Committees. Also I am sure the parallel state investigations are ready to go.
What he is doing is unprecedented, and I hope we can look back on it in the future with admiration (as opposed to that hack Ken Starr).

(1,583 posts)Mueller just made a raid happen on Trump's fixer and took everything he had.
Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that this wasn't a raid on Trump.

(22,191 posts)from him (his bosses). I liked one posting that stated that basically if Mueller and Rosenstein were fired, any ongoing investigations would still continue and would continue until the last person in the Justice dept turned out the lights.
I hope this is true, and I suspect that it is. Or, I hope it is.

It is nice to think that they would, but realistically, if their boss says to wrap it up, what do they do?

(22,191 posts)would cause ongoing investigations to stop, e.g., investigations into interstate crime sprees and other FBI-led investigations simply don't stop in place just because of management changes (or at least, I don't recall this ever happening).

(111,110 posts)It is very political. And there are people that wish for it to be stopped.
SWBTATTReg
(22,191 posts)very political, but there would be a danger, a very serious danger of 'obstruction of justice' should anything happen now, I would think (and hope), and an outcry would erupt. God, wish Nov. 2108 was here already.

(111,110 posts)He doesn't seem to care.
SWBTATTReg
(22,191 posts)But I don't think it's because he doesn't care, it's that he is so into himself that he doesn't listen or pay attention to anything. It's why he's walked into multiple bankruptcies. Right in front of him, and he still went bankrupt. Idiot.
Take care.

(7,947 posts)There have been rumblings of another bigger indictment coming. Jared's culpable of all those reporting perjuries on official docs, and that's really easy to prove just to get him into court.
I also suspect there will be more referrals now to state court, perhaps. Crimes committed in DC can be prosecuted there, and there will be many in NYC, of course. He might delegate some down to keep them "pardon-proof."
Then again, Rudy says he's being brought in now to "wrap things up," and that in only a few months, he'll have Mueller cowering and slinking away with the investigation closed. LOL.

(22,191 posts)Rudy will go into court and before you know it, his antics and loud mouth will be muffled and he'll be stopped in his tracks. What a piece of crap.

(14,498 posts)From what I've read, he deserves one, along with many others. That would really send tRump into a hissy fit.
