We have a new pair of screech owls this year. They are Owlberta (female) and Oliver (male). They are both gray phase eastern screech owls. Olwberta laid her first egg in the early morning hours of 4/14/2018. Screech owls typically lay 3-5 eggs total and eggs are laid 2-days apart. The incubation period is 27-35 days. First expected hatch date is May 11th.
