After Trump is ultimately arrested, tried, convicted, & imprisoned for his crimes against America

I think it's important that this happens after Democrats win in 2020. Among many other reasons why we need to hang onto the presidency for as long as we can from 2020 onward, I also think it's just as important that we hang onto that office for at least the next several terms so no future GOP corrupt president can pardon him as he rots away in jail for the rest of his life.

Questions:

If Disgusting Donald gets imprisoned BEFORE his term is up, can he pardon himself?

If he gets impeached and imprisoned before the 2020 election, and if the just-as-corrupt Pence replaces him, can Pence pardon him for crimes against America?

rating. We need to focus public attention on income inequality, the ongoing war against the poor, etc., to beat him and the GOP. Kicking and screaming about how awful this despicable person is will not get us where we really need to go.

Well, at least we got Scooter Libby.

accepted by the majority of politicians, including Democrats. Disgrace will be considered enough of a penalty and underlings like Cohen will get some jail time to make it appear justice was served.

What he's done is unprecedented by any other president, even the previous GOP assholes before him.

Impeachment or losing in 2020 won't be good enough. He needs to go to jail, and he will. We just need to make sure we win in all important future elections.

TRIED/PROSECUTED for crimes in office UNTIL and IN THE EVENT that he is successfully impeached based on that evidence by the House and subsequently voted to be removed by a 2/3 majority of the Senate--OR after his term in office. At that point, NO he can NOT pardon himself, but Pence COULD. See Nixon and Gerald Ford...

That said, Pence can ONLY pardon FEDERAL crimes--not STATE

Really, everything he's done comes down to treason. That is what history should record. For him and all the GOP.

Trump is in big fucking trouble. If Trump is removed from office, which must happen. Pence can pardon him at the federal level. New York State can bring serious charges against Trump that cannot be pardoned. Bank fraud, tax fraud etc.

but, like others, I have strong doubts that this scenario will ever come to pass. Still, I have hope that some crimes, so egregious they cannot be ignored by the courts, come to light.

There aren’t enough in the world for your silliness. We’re going to vote the fucker out in a couple years and spend decades making sure that nobody ever forgets the scale of the disaster that will be his legacy.

it won't be because of bitter sounding folks who are all too quick to quell the positive thinkers with negative thoughts that ooze from them like the stale hissing air from a leaky old tire. Disgusting Donald will be voted out by optimistic people who actually DO something because they believe it will happen.
