The sowing of chaos is the end...
rather than the means to the end.
Chaos is the goal. With chaos, comes strife.
With strife comes the choosing of sides, and division.
A divided and chaotic USA is what Russia wants, and therefore is ultimately what Trump wants.
A permanently chaotic and divided state means that the enemies of this nation have won the war.
It is a war, and we are losing.
Until it is called out as such, it will continue. Until firm action is taken to destroy disinformation from Trump (via tweets and "rallies" ) and Russian bots, it will continue to destroy this country, and perhaps the world, until there is nothing left.
Getting Zuckerberg in front of congress to testify does not mean shit. Rolling our eyes at Trump, that rascally rascal, does not mean shit.
This disinformation is terrifying, chaotic, and needs to be stopped yesterday.
The media need to start putting some fear in the hearts of our citizenry. Social media needs to be revamped. Existing laws need to be changed, and new laws need to be created. This requires the republican congress to get off thier dead ass and do the right thing, which seems to be an impossibility. This means that if we do not GOTV and flip the House...bye bye.
The importance of stopping and then reversing what has happened cannot be overstated. Kind of like the importance of climate change...something that we also are not and will not do a goddamn thing about.
