(6,283 posts)He came across as very professional and credible the first few times he was on the air, but suddenly he's on the spitball-throwing bandwagon. He might be 100% correct in what he says, but, as far as I'm concerned, that just makes him look bad. Maybe he should take PR essons from Mueller.

(14,583 posts)Trying to cash in on his 15 minutes of fame. Felt that way about him from the first time I saw him.
He is doing a hell of a job cashing in. He has put Cohen into a box and may well have coincidentally gotten Trump into a box. Better get used to him, you are going to be seeing this guy a lot for years.
Cohen pitched him a meatball across the plate and he didn't miss with his swing on it, that meatball is still bouncing around in the stands at the 400 feet mark.

(14,583 posts)Getting raided. They've been tapping this idiot for years, he's been on the radar they've been doing their work on him long before anyone knew who Stormy Daniels was.

THAT'S the way it should be, and he is the one who's going to take him down if anyone does.
This reality TV star b******* is a symptom of wine this country is in such deep s***. We shouldn't be celebrating that.
Look, it is what it is with him. Everyone's got the right to take advantage of the opportunity when it comes to them. But, he's patently going overdrive trying to take advantage of his 15 minutes of fame. That's a 100% spot on honest assessment of what's going on.

(17,367 posts)As far as Ive seen she is articulate and credible and has put great pressure on Impotus. I strongly disagree with your characterization that is classless.

(31,261 posts)For that I am grateful to her. I only wish that in October 2016 , she had said damn your $130,000, I am telling my story. But how many of us have done the exactly right thing at the right time each and every time we were at that juncture?

(31,261 posts)or rely on her for any spiritual or material support. So as long as she is damaging Trump and fucking up his escape options from an ultimate perjury trap, I really don't give a damn why she is doing it.

(1,020 posts)You might not like her profession, but she works and presumable makes a living honestly. If you compare her to one of the Trump kids, hands down, she's more honest.

(58,771 posts)Like I've said before, there really isn't any "good" folks in the Stormy fiasco. Avenatti at least seems to know what he is doing vis-a-vis the law, and has some smarts.
But if it helps root Trump out of the White House, I'll put up with it.

(31,261 posts)And I suspect, will ultimately hang Trump. The $130,000 in hush money has opened avenues to a lot of damaging criminal charges for Cohen, and I hope beyond hope, Trump.
Expect to be seeing this guy a lot, either representing people in future high profile cases, or as a talking head legal analyst on Cable. Like him or not, he is making a name for himself with this Daniels case, and I suspect that his and her efforts will make both well known and rich (book deals, appearances).
Cosmocat
(14,583 posts)Cohen is a lifelong scumbag POS, if you take the time to look into the information broadly about this they've been recording his information long before the stormy situation arose, was on their radar for a long damn time, and that Ray wasn't even remotely just about stormy, they have a lot of other really, really bad s*** including the ties with the Russians, they were pursuing outside of Stormy. That raid was happening if Avanti was never born.

(14,167 posts)I do think he's a decent attorney -- graduated at the top of his class. Even Turley said he was good on Morning Joe (grudgingly).
As long as he keeps pounding Trump and associates, I think he's OK.
Though I think he possibly should dial it back a bit around court time.
