Pro-Assad official says targeted bases were evacuated on Russian warning
Reuters Staff FRI APR 13, 2018 / 11:41 PM EDT

(Reuters) - The Syrian government and its allies have absorbed a U.S.-led attack on Saturday and the targeted sites were evacuated days ago thanks to a warning from Russia, a senior official in a regional alliance that backs Damascus said.

"We have absorbed the strike", the official told Reuters.

"We had an early warning of the strike from the Russians ... and all military bases were evacuated a few days ago," the official said. Around 30 missiles were fired in the attack, and a third of them were shot down, the official said.

better of him. And from a guy that said he would never telegraph his moves and likes the element of surprise.

Trump just can't do anything right.

The rest of us, too.

Twitter really needs to just make a fake Twitter, one that only Trump can see. Fill it up with bots that make Trump feel good about himself. While we’re at it, we can get some guys in fake uniforms (they wouldn’t even have to be American uniforms; he wouldn’t know the difference) to hang around him and make him feel like a Big Boy.

No need for collaboration between dump and Assad. Their orders come from elsewhere.

Maybe this is a way for the reconstituted USSR to get some statistics on the US weapons' features. Hey, donnie-boy - could you strike at this empty warehouse district? We'll be sure to send you some fun videos after.

and Trump wouldn't have launched his attacks on Syria w/out telling Putin 1st.

It is all Kabuki.

From wiki: Kabuki is a term used by American political pundits as a synonym for political posturing.

Thing is, no one is surprised by the fake strike, most had anticipated it. He has zero credibility among those who count.

Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!

they are going to give the skanks a heads up...however, it should not be done on twitter like this obviously and not worded that way broadcast to the world. What an embarrassment.
