Vowing never to forgive James Comey. Good.
Must be the "support Democrats" thing. What party was Franken in?

Franken is a solid Democrat.

(30,481 posts)No need to discuss it considering Franken rolled over from the very start. When one is not willing to fight for themselves in one of the greatest deliberative bodies in the world, the end result isnt going to be pretty.
Dear colleagues, please hold tight for an ethics investigation. I will not be standing up for myself between now and then.
Always a bad move. Love the guy to death but that is an accurate summation.

(6,143 posts)The problem is instead of fighting back, Franken just started apologizing which made it sound as if the claims were legitimate. Thus, each new allegation made him more of a political liability.

They both furthered an attack originated by partisan Republicans against a Democratic figure for purposes of political expediency.

Comey hurt the rightful president attempting to make the FBI look nonpartisan.
