Just read what he is writing about AG Loretta Lynch....
He's inferring that there is classified information on her that would make her look like she tainted the Hillary email investigation..

(29,577 posts)"Comey is critical of then-Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch, saying she had a tortured half-out, half-in approach to the Clinton investigation and that he considered calling for the appointment of a special prosecutor.
One day shortly before the election, Lynch and Comey met privately. Comey writes that the attorney general wrapped her arms around him and implied that she thought he had done the right thing.
But as their meeting ended, Comey writes, She said, with just the slightest hint of a smile, Try to look beat up. She had told somebody she was going to chew me out for what I had done. What a world.

(819 posts)How can he be a hero at the same time?
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,926 posts)by describing in great detail, from the perspective of an eye- and ear-witness insider, how absolutely debased and degraded Trump really is. I'll take it.
And I thought the Russians were why Trump is in office?

(53,949 posts)neglected to disclose that he had been investigating trump since the summer.
He's as much responsible for trump being in the WH as Putin, vote suppression and other repug cheating.
He's nothing but a partisan repug hack trying to redeem himself.
Don't fall for it.
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,926 posts)in which he describes his impressions of and interactions with Trump, and not positively. I don't know what his motivations were for writing the book but I will accept those descriptions as accurate.

(9,527 posts)Clinton was told that her communications weren't secure and opted to continue to use them for the sake of convenience and didn't provide legally required document preservation. Yes others have done so, but that doesn't actually make it correct, especially given she was all but certain to run in 2016. With the stupid mad-on Republicans had for her, not doing everything by the letter of the law was plain stupid.
I work in a job that sometimes has me viewing personal health information. I'd be fired if I were using a personal email address to send any of that information, regardless of if that information was intercepted.
On the Comey announcement, I think the ultimate blame is on Clinton for having the stupid server in the first place. If she doesn't have that, she almost certainly wins the election. Clinton couldn't control any of the intervening steps, but she could have prevented them in the first place.

However, Mr. Comey acknowledges that he thought Mrs. Clinton would win the presidency and said it is entirely possible that he decided to reveal that the email investigation had started up again 11 days before the election because he was primarily concerned that if he concealed the renewed investigation, it would make her an illegitimate president.

(21,698 posts)and he's now trying to conceal that.
Nevertheless, I'm glad to have him on our side on the Cheeto issue - even if it is out of spite for his being fired. The man has much to tell.

(63,221 posts)not going to waste my time tearing them down for their past transgressions. As long as they are bashing Trump NOW is all that I care about. The more damage they can do to him, the better. I get really tired of people who never forgive and forget. As far as I am concerned, if someone is anti-Trump at the moment, they are on our side.
