Ryan Resignation/ GOP CYA?

Just had this thought:

Mueller's indictments and - for added fun and excitement - unleased just prior to mid-terms, end up bringing down Trump, Pence...even Ryan (knowledge, complicity, i.e.)

Who becomes President?

Nancy Pelosi...until 2020

House flips to Dems, too
Senate's a toss-up

What's the GOPs gamble? Take Ryan out & prey... I mean pray...the House holds GOP control.

Result: GOP holds the Presidency (as Speaker would then go to GOP's next pick for Speaker furthest from Russian ordeal, the House, and possibly the Senate.

Good gamble? How's everybody doing tonight?

Senate can be flipped blue or red in 2018 by a small number of votes in a small number of states - IN, MO, etc. The Koch social media operation will be doing all the same Cambridge Analytica stuff (but legal because it's domestic) in 2018 in those swing states. That's what will affect the Senate outcome.
