Is Bannon a "subject" in this investigation?

If so, would it not be construed as "obstruction of justice" to conspire to fire the investigators or to block the investigation?

It is not as if he is speaking as a common citizen, giving his opinion. He is involved in this mess. And he is trying to persuade Donald Trump into firing Mueller and/or Rosenstein.

I think he may be treading on shaky ground?
