"...they're nice and new and smart."

Why did Trump say those words??

I think he may have been giving Putin a heads-up, a warning?

In effect, he was telling him that they are "smart" bombs and that they are "new", meaning they maybe have not been used before, and that they were "nice", meaning that they were very effective.

If we recall, he did something similar last year when missiles attack one of Syria's airfields. He gave Putin time to move all the Russian aircraft and none were damaged in the attack.

Is he doing the same thing this time?

I forget, did we even hit the Syria airfield?

I think it was up and running in some fashion the next day

but as far as the words he used, he's way to dumb to speak in any kind of code. Could be help from Bolton.
