(38,454 posts)SUPERIOR intelligence just to get here. Whatever.............and I agree with you...If they have superior intelligence to get here.................then...................................................................
..........................................................................................................................
that superior intelligence would tell them to avoid human contact at all cost.................
Having contact with humans, might upset their equilibrium and keep them from returning from where they came from....the last place real bright beings would want to land is ..........TRUMPLAND USA......... Perhaps
they would take over Paris, or Madrid..I don't know...............wait I do know that Capt. Kirk knows..
In one episode, didn't the Enterprise go back in time.....well Captain Kirk..is among us now..watching...
and waiting for the correct time to confiscate Trump and take him into the future in order to save the
human race.............................................OH MY......................................DID I SAY THAT??????

The second alien asks, "Are they an emerging intelligence?"
The first alien says, "I don't think so, they have them pointed at themselves."

(46,364 posts)Had I turned to go down a different street, I would have never seen it up close, it was several balloons tethered in a bunch to a car dealership.
Back in ancient times and the middle ages, people saw weird things, and odd lights.
They called them fairies, often.
During WW2 they were called "Foo Fighters."
In 1947, a pilot who saw a flock of geese at an odd angle said they flew like "saucers skipped over the water."
Hence, the term "flying saucers" was born.

(4,633 posts)I was driving in south Florida with my cousins way back then. It was dusk, partly cloudy. We saw a large object of some kind with flashing colored lights slowly move through the air. UFO! We took afterut, racing through the streets, several near misses on the way. Then we got up close. The lights ... Shop at Kmart or something like that. It was the Goodyear Blimp!

(905 posts)I find it incredible that most people don't think anyone or anything is out in the universe when we ourselves are ETs in space.
I am remembering when John Glenn was on the show Fraser and he was hysterical.

(4,858 posts)...which is not to say that this is a "mundane" explanation. A relative of mine who worked in one of the branches of military intelligence talked to me shortly before he died. He said what UFOs actually were, but asked me never to reveal what he said to anyone. So I will just say that, if he was telling the truth and if he knew what he was talking about, the UFO phenomenon is of earthly origin. But much of what we "know" about history, especially since 1945, is not what it appears to be...

(50,008 posts)not to mention security cameras everywhere, and satellites scanning the globe and skies, we don't have more photo evidence of UFOs.
