I mean, he is aware there's an election on, right? That Presidents have some sort of influence on the future makeup of the Supreme Court? Or is he so confident of an Rmoney win that he simply no longer cares?

This is why the recovery is stagnant.
The President needs to address the people in prime time and call them out.

(13,637 posts)If it's not in the constitution, leave it alone in those cases. Women would have always been able to get contaceptives. It's not like it has to be an official right for it to be allowed.

(14,337 posts)Scalia is a Catholic. As people are now learning, the Catholic Church is against all forms of "artificial" contraception and sterilization, and that includes for men too.
