Watched Bill Maher's show this evening!

Rivera was a piece of work! He should stick to finding things that aren't real! He says Fox News is the ones who tell the real truth! is he talking about or is he bucking for a job at the White House for Trump?

Gov. Spitzer and the others were good and all had great talking point expect for Geraldo!

And I agree, though they're old friends, I thought Bill was too easy on him.

6. I remember his show back when..

He really was a pro-Clinton advocate..During the impeachment days.

I always felt that after the Clinton thing... Geraldo went for the money..

Geraldo probably with kids and wife decided he wanted the good life..You know, fuck the progressive stuff.. I want dinero... Remember the Al Capone Vault shit with Geraldo? Embarrassing!

7. I think that was Bill's main point - what happened to him??

He can claim all the "liberal" viewpoints he wants, but he's still on FOX News and thereby promotes it. I did find it interesting that he says his wife can't stand Trump - that must make his "friendship" uncomfortable. But is Trump actually "friends" with anyone?? He'll turn on anyone if it suits his current agenda...

And I have to admit - I did watch the Al Capone's Vault special...

8. I haven't seen Geraldo since O'Reilly told him he needed to rehabilitate

That was within days of joining Fox. Rehabilitation from the Clinton advocacy. I expected Geraldo to be stronger than he was. Instead it was a rather weak, "I don't think so..."

At that point I knew he would be absorbed so I gave up on Geraldo and haven't watched, other than an occasional brief Fox clip when shown on CNN or MSNBC.

Yes, lots of older journalists cave and go for the cheap money. I've also seen sportswriters do it late in their career, switching to broadcast since it's much more simple than writing clever columns five or more times per week. Skip Bayless was a very good sports columnist for a long time, before veering to television and eventually to more money at Fox, where he no longer exists to me.

And, having nit watched a second of him speaking for over a decade, I was reminded of how simple minded (not the sharpest tack) he is, which of course makes him a perfect fit for Faux.

Which is WHY I run very hot and very cold with Maher.

The HOG is destroying this world quite literally, and Geraldo "Nothing was in that Vault" Rivera says that he's the most maligned president in history. tRumputin gives people a reason to savage him weekly, daily, hourly, and he STILL doesn't get the scrutiny/savaging that he should by the mostly corporate media, given his high crimes and treason, alleged sexual assaults, greed, bold-faced lying, racism.

Lastly, Vault man Rivera needs to shut his disgusting sexual abusing pie hole. Pres. Obama was maligned and was savaged for wearing a tan suit. For putting his feet up on the Oval Office desk/not wearing a suit coat while in the Oval Office. He was maligned for eating fancy mustards & Arugula on a sandwich by Sean "Lumpy" Hannity who was recently accused of sexual harassment by Debbie Schlussel. White Presidents did the SAME thing that Pres Obama did (Minus eating fancy mustard/Arugula I believe), yet Pres. Obama was savaged for doing some of th the same things that other Presidents did.

Oh that's right, Mr. Oxycontin called Pres. Obama uppity as well. Uppity was Oxycontin's way of calling Pres. Obama a Ni@@er.

I was not impressed because Bill was so egocentric in his opinion.

I stopped listening. Just cause you are pro choice does not give lame comments like that traction.

The panel was very good though. Three super-smart people who didn't have enough time to talk because Maher wasted so much time on geraldo.

It seems like whoever is booking guests is doing a better job than in previous years. I haven't noticed as many of those conservative "blathering blond" airheads recently.

15. Agreed. And Bill Maher really needs to let go of the bitterness

over what happened to him and his ABC show (Politically Incorrect) after 911. First of all, that was almost 20 years ago. Second, he uses that experience as justification to support the most vile comments from RWers. I'm so glad the panel checked him on what free speech really entails.
