GOP lawmaker will introduce bill requiring display of Trump, Pence portraits at the post office
12:28 a.m. ET

A Republican congressman from New York wants to make sure that when you step inside a post office in the United States, it's under the watchful eyes of President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Rep. Dan Donovan said he is planning on introducing legislation making it mandatory for the official portraits of the president and vice president to be on display at every post office, The Hill reports. He said a resident of Staten Island notified him that a local post office had portraits of former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden up during their administration, but did not replace them with photos of Trump and Pence.

Donovan won a special election in 2015, and with the Republican primary coming up, he's running against the man he replaced — former Rep. Michael Grimm, fresh out of prison after pleading guilty to tax fraud. Grimm is also famous for once threatening to chuck a reporter over a balcony. Catherine Garcia

Post offices used to do that ............

Or maybe on dart boards - give the customer something to do while waiting.

I like my post office and the good people that work there - please don't trash it up.
