A few thoughts about where we are and at least one reason why - Women

For all the divisive bullshit aimed at HRC for thirty plus years and amped up to ELEVEN in the 2016 cycle, she still won by three million votes. It is increasingly apparent the election was stolen. One great woman was cheated out of what she deserved.

And what did that do?

It set off the call for women to take to the streets. And they did. The day after the LOSER of the popular vote ascended to the presidency, millions of women led the way. Get out. Get active. and increasingly, GET EVEN.

The country is seeing levels of activism at the grass roots that hasn't been seen since . . . . I have no idea when.

Women are running for office where they never thought to do so. And they are winning.

As we head toward the midterms, we hear an increasingly loud drumbeat about how the enthusiastic activism of that day on the national mall and literally around the world is fading. The blue wave may not happen.

To that, I call bullshit.

The IS the time. This IS about women taking the lead. This IS about change. This IS about a wave.

I am hoping for a blue wave. But I am seeing a PINK wave.

Can I get some Amens?

Without realizing he pissed off a lot of women over the years. It is time- now that the misogyny and it’s sad effects are plainly visible- to elect a woman. Long overdue- and will bring out more reliably Dem voters.

I understand that people think Biden would do well in the Rust Belt, but I would be extremely disappointed if he were to become the nominee. And not just because of his age, though to not be concerned about his age is to deny the realities of the aging process. Biden would be older than Reagan when Reagan *left* office.

It got her trampled on all over again...she should sit down and shut up...go away...aren't you embarrassed you lost but after all you ran a terrible campaign...but those emails...she needs to be investigated, she's getting away with murder, she still needs to be locked up. That's what it did to the woman who won the popular vote.

The same ratfckrs constantly attacking and demeaning Nancy Pelosi and every other woman who dares to be a high level achiever -- those ratfckrs would have kept up their poisonous attacks on HRC regardless. And they do.

Our job is not to be quiet -- ever. Our silence and appeasement will not win us one moment's peace. It will only serve those who want to make us disappear from public life.

Our job is to do the right thing, regardless.

SHE WAS WARNED. SHE WAS TOLD THE CONSEQUENCES. NEVERTHELESS, SHE PERSISTED.

Me.

do?

To this day she is being targeted. An article on HuffPo points out she was the topic/mentioned 60 times this week alone.

you do know that 52% of white women voted for Donnie Short Fingers, don't you?

Let that number sink in for a minute...52% of white women voted for a pussy grabbing, philandering, lying con-man who fantasizes about having sex with his daughter

Those particular women have some explaining to do.
