(32,168 posts)Back when Medicaid was more front-and-center in the news, I got so sick of hearing how Rump and the GOP want to "reshape" Medicaid. "Destroy" is more like it.

(24,454 posts)We need to start calling what Republicans want to do to social programs (or really any government program) "DEform". It always get a burr up my butt whenever I hear the news media call what the Republicans are doing "Reform", as though they have the program's and people's best interests at heart.

(102,509 posts)I will listen to. The times when they seem to be presenting a RW meme, I immediately fire off emails to my two local stations PLUS the National Ombudsman. I am polite, but direct.
I miss music radio, but usually only listen to select local stations outside of morning hours because of the typically ignorant and/or RW-leaning "morning drive" DJs.

Proud Liberal Dem
(24,454 posts)WHAT POLICIES?! It would be really nice if these so-called "experts" were pinned down at some point as to what exactly Trump's policies are and how they're helping? The only "policy" Trump has is sowing chaos.
liberalnarb
(4,532 posts)Not only do they normalize him, but they act as if he has actual policy proposals. And to think, lots of people look to the local news as their main source.
Proud Liberal Dem
(24,454 posts)and "low-information" voters will hear this c**p on the news and think that everything is fine with this country come 2020 and re-elect him simply because Trump has "policies" and that "experts" are "optimistic" about the economy continuing to be strong (because of them).
Assuming that the economy doesn't tank by then, of course........
