(4,167 posts)Now that Obama and Clinton are out of the limelight, its back to the mid 2000s when it was Pelosi.

(118,880 posts)leader of the House people will not vote for Dem candidates. That looks to be the strategy.

(14,167 posts)Then you get people to come to the polls to vote AGAINST the woman that you have demonized.
They don't have to sell their awful Republican candidates.
Where we go wrong is we just let this go unchallenged. We should be mounting a great defense of Pelosi... starting with her fight for health care and seniors.

(11,119 posts)week of September!
Those candidates will go NUTS and spend millions trying to convince voters that it's not true. And the un-informed republican voters may never find out that Pelosi's endorsement was not accepted.
It would teach the right-wing to think twice about demonizing Democrats in the future, knowing that the DEMON can be turned loose on republican candidates!
LOVE this idea... Effective chaos!

(14,249 posts)After all, we can't have anyone on our side that the Republicans don't like. We need to force her out and replace her with someone they feel more comfortable with. If Nancy Pelosi isn't Speaker anymore, Republicans and wayward Dems who voted for Trump last time around will vote for Democratic candidates and we'll take back the House.
Yeah, let's go with that.
