"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"

It is clear the Sessions refusal to appoint a special counsel to appease the republicans is a set up to fire him and then Mueller, Sessions is probably in on it.

All patriots must take to the streets the instant that happens and we must make it very clear it will NOT stand.

period

Sadly it is time, we have to do our job as patriots.

2. IMO, trump is afraid of sessions. IMO, sessions knows stuff... BIG stuff and trump knows it.

If it were anybody but sessions, trump would have fired him by now.
If he fires him, IMO, sessions will sing like a canary.

3. We know that Mueller is almost a year-deep in his investigation, but its breadth and scope likely

means that it could take many more months before it's complete.

We also know that there are sealed indictments parked in various federal courts at this very moment.

We know that state AG's are waiting in the wings to pounce if Mueller's investigation is disturbed.

So....if Sessions is fired and replaced by a Trump flunkie, that candidate would need to be approved by the Senate.

That won't happen overnight.

In the meantime, sealed indictments are unsealed, other indictments are laid down, and the matter is now able to be litigated in federal court.

Right?

Or would all those indictments just die on the vine if Mueller was fired or his hands tied?

I'm ready to take to the streets. I just pray it won't be necessary. This is truly a race to the finish line.

Last night someone on MSNBC said something that made me smile....

The prisons in those states (Rikers Island prison NY) are not as nice as "Club Fed" (Federal Prisons) and the state AGs are dying to get their hands on him!

5. From a time when politicians could be brilliant

Trump thinks that he's smart. Actually, he's a stupid idiot.

President Kennedy was brilliant. He was a war hero, an accomplished Pulitzer Prize winning author, a Congressman, a Senator and President of the United States. He spoke in complete sentences with knowledge, intelligence and humor. His assassination was a searing moment in our history that changed everything, (Stephen Sondheim wrote a painful song about Kennedy's death titled, "Something Just Broke&quot .

Compare this speech with anything Trump has said.

What a sad commentary on how far we've fallen as a nation.

7. Yeah, we haven't had a good run during my lifetime

When I was born, Eisenhower was president.

Kennedy was great but his opportunities were cut short.

Johnson will forever be tarred by Viet Nam.

Nixon, ugh.

Ford was a placeholder.

Carter was a good man but he's been a better ex-president.

Reagan was the beginning of our current travails. Also his administration was corrupt.

George the First gave us Supreme Court Associate Justice Thomas. Nothing else needs to be said.

Clinton was a mixed bag. His triangulation was good for winning elections but didn't create a terrific set of policies. And the embarrassment of his dalliances diminished his accomplishments.

George the Second was a disaster. Also his administration was corrupt.

Obama was brilliant. He was the first president since Kennedy who was smart, funny and tough. Unfortunately, he was saddled with a Republican party that was the most obstructionist in our country's history.

And now we have the abomination called Trump.

As I say, not a great run for our side.
