(65,553 posts)It will probably fall off the front page soon, so I hope a lot of people get to see it before that happens.

(1,294 posts)just me. I looked past this thread a few times thinking it's just a video of Obama singing the song which I've seen plenty. THis song is worth a listen.

(7,413 posts)I know we have to go through this. But that man set the standard. He has to be the standard.
Long Live Barack Obama.
Is he the first President to sing at a memorial service?

(10,178 posts)We used to,have a decent, wonderful man as president. To have him be followed by a charlatan wth no morals, no intelligence, and no heart is just beyond bearing. Every day I wake up thinking that maybe today will be the day that Mueller drops the hammer on Trump. That will be a wonderful day!

(11,580 posts)She can't hit the notes she used to, but she knows not to try. Listening to this was like seeing Leo Kottke some days ago. His playing is no longer fluid, for the most part, and he fumbles sometimes...both in stark contrast to the way he once played.
But it was still Leo Kottke, goddammit.
Same with Joan Baez. A beautiful song, and she did a beautiful job of it by knowing what to do and how to do it.
